Urban Birds

Urban Birds is also from the Incline Press, a collection of cuts by Jo Spaul with poems chosen by the Press's owners Graham Moss and Kathy Whalen.
It's a lovely volume and a great read, with several poems I didn't know.
The book is sewn on red vellum slips and a limp vellum cover. The vellum was the last part of a rather strange skin I had, very stiff and bobbly, which makes a characterful and interesting cover.
The label was made by scanning one of Jo's images, printing it out on card and laminating it. The result was sewn into a window in the cover with linen thread.
